WEILAN combines robot hardware with a household app and configurable companion software. In BabyAlpha A2, users can select voice, personality and interests, while conversational memory retains preferences and plans. The company's Agent OS coordinates routines and expressive behaviours, and software updates add functions over time.
The home connection extends beyond conversation. A2 supports two-way audio and video calls between the robot and app, remote camera positioning and messages delivered through combinations of speech, movement and expressions. Its indoor mapping system supports patrols and return to a compatible charging dock. Users can also construct behaviours through graphical programming. Jiangsu Leili disclosed that it had established a strategic cooperation relationship with quadruped-robot builder Nanjing Weilan. The collaboration expanded beyond motors and gearboxes to cover integrated robot joint modules. The relationship connects Weilan's finished quadruped systems with Jiangsu Leili's actuation and transmission supply capabilities.
