Proxima Robotics develops Compass, a modular autonomy stack that mobile-robot manufacturers install on new or existing vehicles. Docker containers running on an Ubuntu industrial PC provide natural-SLAM mapping, lidar-based localisation, mission execution, obstacle avoidance, precision docking, operator interfaces and fleet connectivity for differential, omnidirectional and car-like platforms.

Compass communicates with vehicle hardware and higher-level systems through Ethernet, ROS 2, OPC UA and REST interfaces, with VDA 5050 compatibility planned for fleet integration. Licence tiers range from mapping and localisation to mission management, remote monitoring and reporting. Proxima also helps OEMs select sensors and actuators, define kinematics, integrate PLCs and safety systems, commission the robot and tune navigation for production use.
