About Rendezvous Robotics

Rendezvous Robotics develops modular spacecraft structures assembled after launch. Its small electromagnetic tiles move, align and latch with neighbouring units, allowing many identical modules to form large antennas, solar arrays and other orbital surfaces.

The approach distributes sensing, actuation and control across the structure, reducing dependence on a single deployment mechanism and allowing damaged or misaligned sections to be reconfigured. The underlying technology has progressed through university research and three spaceflight experiments. Rendezvous is now developing production tiles and autonomous assembly software for commercial and government missions.
