About SDIC Intelligence
SDIC Intelligence operates security, data and public-safety technology businesses and is controlled by China’s State Development and Investment Corporation. Its robotics activity is an active expansion into commercial security systems, drawing on the group’s established surveillance and safety technology base.
In September 2026 the company began a production programme for 1,000 security robots in Xiamen and launched three robot series: Yuanshu, Yuanbao and Yuanchi. The 1,000-unit figure describes the production programme and prior deployment ambition, not a disclosed firm customer order. Its Meiya Pico subsidiary also agreed to work with AgiBot Cool Robotics on R&D and deployment.

Yuanshu is the company’s commercial-security robot brain and orchestration layer. Yuanbao covers wheeled outdoor patrol robots, while Yuanchi covers quadruped patrol systems. The launch updated both the robot-brain software and terminal hardware within the company’s security stack.
