About Segway Robotics

Segway Robotics carries forward Segway’s robotic mobility work, which began with the Robotic Mobility Platform line in the early 2000s, inside the wider Segway-Ninebot group. The robotics subsidiary maintains a U.S. contact base in Nashua while drawing on the parent group’s electric-drive, balance-control, manufacturing and international commercial infrastructure.

The portfolio separates deployable logistics robots from developer platforms. Outdoor and indoor delivery systems target food, parcel and facility transport, while Nova Carter and RMP kits provide mobile bases for research, inspection and custom autonomy. Loomo adds a self-balancing service-robot form factor. The company is therefore tracked as a mobile-robot builder with logistics as its primary commercial lane, not as a generic personal-mobility company.

  • 2024-03-18 - Product Launch - Segway Robotics and NVIDIA introduce Nova Orin Developer Kit

    The kit combines a Jetson AGX Orin module with stereo RGBD and high-speed surround cameras to provide three-dimensional surround perception. NVIDIA Isaac components, sensor drivers, calibration and Isaac Perceptor packages are preinstalled for AMR development in dynamic environments. Segway unveiled the kit at GTC on 18 March 2024 and said orders would open in early April; the platform builds on the existing Nova Carter development robot.
