About PIE Robotics
PIE Robotics applies its parent group’s machine-vision, inspection and process-monitoring capabilities to physical automation. In PCB manufacturing, its current work combines CNC drilling equipment with robot handlers that load and unload panels, coordinate the drill cycle and move workpieces between process stages. Vision and inspection data can then be linked to the corresponding drilling or handling operation.
The subsidiary’s role is to develop the robotics and physical-AI control layer while PIE contributes inspection hardware, AI vision and manufacturing-data infrastructure. This allows equipment partners to connect robot motion with process condition and inspection results in one production system. The same architecture can extend into glass-substrate, automotive-component and other precision-production workflows requiring automated handling and real-time quality monitoring.
