About Teradar
Teradar develops solid-state terahertz sensors for vehicle perception and threat detection. Its Modular Terahertz Engine generates and receives frequencies between conventional automotive radar and infrared imaging, targeting long range and fine spatial resolution through fog, rain, snow, dust and glare.
Summit is the company's first automotive vision sensor, being developed for advanced driver assistance and autonomous vehicles. The configurable architecture is intended to package transmitter, receiver and signal processing without mechanical scanning, allowing integration into vehicle sensor suites. Teradar emerged from stealth with Summit in 2025 and remained in automotive and defence development programmes, before high-volume production.
