About Lunewave
Lunewave’s sensors use a spherical Luneburg lens to form multiple radar beams over a wide field of view with fewer conventional phased-array components. Its automotive radar work covers the 76–81 GHz band and combines long-range detection with broad angular coverage, while related antenna products can be configured for satellite communications, 5G, robotics and uncrewed systems.
The company designs the lens, feed arrangement, radio-frequency electronics and signal-processing software as a matched system. Additive manufacturing allows lens geometry, frequency and feed placement to be adapted for different platforms without redesigning a large planar antenna array. Lunewave works with vehicle and autonomy developers on radar integration and also offers passive radio-frequency direction-finding and geolocation technology, extending the same compact antenna architecture from active sensing into communications and spectrum awareness.
