About Transitive Robotics
Transitive Robotics packages each fleet-management function as a capability with coordinated robot, cloud and web components. An agent installed on the robot runs those capabilities in designated sandbox environments and connects them to the cloud through the framework’s synchronisation protocol. Developers can install functions through the portal or include them in a robot’s software image.
The web component can then be embedded in a company’s own customer portal, with signed tokens controlling access. This lets a robotics supplier add interactive operational tools while keeping its existing interface. Some capabilities support ROS 1 and ROS 2, although the framework itself does not require ROS. Transitive manages the connections needed by the selected function, including the relay infrastructure used for remote video.

- 2026-04-09 - Capability - Transitive Robotics 2.0 adds ClickHouse, Grafana and Alertmanager support
Version 2.0 added historic and time-series data storage in ClickHouse. The release integrated Grafana visualization and custom alerting through Alertmanager. The added monitoring stack supports robotics companies operating larger fleets beyond one-operator-to-one-robot workflows.

transAct provides a starting point for companies building their own robot fleet dashboards. The template embeds Transitive capabilities for remote teleoperation, terminal access, ROS tools, configuration management and health monitoring. The release focused on operations teams managing growing robot fleets without building every dashboard component from scratch.

The self-hosted release enabled teams to run Transitive outside the hosted transitiverobotics.com service. The framework targets robot cloud portals, real-time data synchronization and shareable full-stack robotic capabilities. The release supported developers building robot fleet systems with local development and deployment control.

New users could create an account and test Transitive robotic capabilities during the beta. The public beta included WebRTC video streaming and remote teleoperation for robot operations workflows. The release moved Transitive beyond closed access toward broader use by robotics teams building fleet tools.
