WEIPU traces its connector manufacturing programme to 1996, began overseas sales development in 2005 and added custom cable-assembly services in 2012. The company says its catalogue exceeded 10,000 products by 2021. Sales operations are based in Shanghai and production in Zhongshan, Guangdong; its published quality framework includes ISO 9001 and IATF 16949:2016, with selected product families carrying additional standards approvals.
The robotics evidence comes from Fictionlab’s Leo Rover and does not extend across WEIPU’s full catalogue. Leo Rover documentation specifies three-pin SP13-3 connectors between the battery, main electronics box and supported add-ons, plus an SP13-3-to-DC adapter for charging. That evidence establishes a separable power-and-status interconnect in an outdoor mobile robot, while connector selection, sealing requirements and certification still depend on the exact WEIPU series and pin configuration.
