About XYZ Robotics
XYZ Robotics designs case-handling systems around the changing arrangement of cartons inside trailers and warehouses. RockyOne uses model-free 3D recognition to locate cases and a gripper that can pick from their tops or sides, including multiple cases in one movement. Its omnidirectional base repositions the industrial arm as the load changes, and operators monitor or control the system through a wireless tablet.
RockyOne is configured for cases up to 30 kg and a range of standard and high-cube containers. Alongside it, RockyLight addresses mixed-case palletising and case picking. The company's warehouse offering connects these handling tasks into inbound and outbound processes, using perception, gripping and motion planning to accommodate different carton presentations.

- 2026-07-27 - Deployment - BAUHAUS puts XYZ Robotics inbound automation into round-the-clock operation in Krefeld
RockyOne autonomously enters sea containers and unloads loose cartons with varying sizes and orientations. A barcode-scanning stage identifies cartons for real-time sorting before RockyOne SE builds customer-specific, storage-ready pallets. BAUHAUS said the system was already operating around the clock without manual intervention and was being evaluated for wider rollout.

Blondel Group selected XYZ Robotics’ Rocky robots for its Courcelles-lès-Lens logistics hub, described as the first French 3PL adoption. RockyOne was scheduled to go live in summer 2026 for truck unloading, while Blondel planned a RockyLight pilot from September 2026 for end-of-line mixed-case palletizing. The project adds a line-controller role and sits within Blondel’s plan to invest more than €2.5 million in logistics technology across 2026 and 2027.
