UnboxSort

About

About UnboxSort

UnboxSort uses mobile robots that collect scanned parcels and move them into destinations distributed vertically across a modular rack structure. Treating height as an active sortation dimension increases the number of destinations within a compact footprint and can reduce floor-space requirements by approximately 50–70% compared with conventional layouts.

Software assigns each parcel, coordinates robot traffic and sequences consolidated orders for dispatch or downstream handling. Installations can scale incrementally by adding robots and rack destinations. Deployed configurations range from hundreds to several thousand parcels per hour, including a 105-robot site reporting 5,610 parcels per hour at full stated accuracy.

Context

Market context

Vertical robotic parcel sortation system for dense warehouse and logistics operations.

  • Target environment: Fulfillment centers, parcel hubs, sort centers, delivery hubs and e-commerce distribution facilities.
  • Workflow context: Autonomous parcel sortation, route sorting, returns sorting, order consolidation and dynamic destination assignment.
  • Customer context: E-commerce operators, third-party logistics providers, parcel networks and warehouse operators with space-constrained sortation needs.
  • Deployment model: Commercial warehouse automation system combining mobile robot fleets, fleet-management software and modular smart racks.
  • Commercial maturity: Commercially deployed system with public marketplace and company materials; site-level performance should still be read as company-reported unless independently verified.
  • Adoption constraints: Adoption depends on parcel mix, building layout, integration with WMS/WES systems, support coverage and fit with existing sortation flow.
  • Market position: Warehouse sortation system focused on vertical density and modular AMR fleet operations rather than fixed conveyor-only layouts.
  • Adjacent products: Geekplus sortation systems, Exotec Skypod, Hai Robotics systems, AutoStore adjacent workflows
