About ADIS16470 Tactical IMU
ADIS16470 samples three-axis angular rate and acceleration through a single SPI interface at rates up to 2,000 samples per second. Each unit is factory calibrated across temperature for sensitivity, alignment and bias, reducing the amount of sensor characterisation required by the equipment manufacturer.
The module includes filtering, data-ready signalling, self-test and programmable operating functions within a compact aluminium package. It supplies raw inertial measurements to the host navigation or control system rather than calculating a complete position solution, supporting stabilised platforms, industrial vehicles, robotics and other motion-sensitive equipment.
