HALO Robot

HALO Robot is the powered travelling unit that carries Aqua Robotics' brush assembly around a fish cage. Its motors, batteries and controls sit in separate waterproof enclosures. The attached HALO Cleaner combines rotating cylinders with transverse brushes, while foils press it against the net to clean both sides of the mesh.

The track is strapped inside the cage handrail so it follows cage movement. An inflatable flotation system keeps the robot and cleaner afloat if they leave the track. Operating data passes to Aqua Robotics' data centre, where remote monitoring and a customer portal provide control, analysis and cleaning reports.
