EvoLogics’ Sonobot 5 is a portable catamaran USV for bathymetric survey, infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring and search operations. The 1.291-metre vehicle weighs 24 to 33 kilograms by configuration and can be transported in two cases for tool-free assembly. It operates manually or follows map-based missions under supervised autonomous control.

Payload choices include single-beam, side-scan, multibeam and forward-looking sonar, together with surface, underwater, thermal or stereo cameras. GNSS, RTK and total-station options georeference collected data in open water or near obstructing structures. A redundant communications design combines mesh Wi-Fi with radio, cellular or satellite links selected for the operating range. The control suite covers survey planning, live track and data preview, wireless download, analysis and export after the mission.
