About Frenzy Engine Family
Frenzy comprises compact turbojet engines spanning approximately 100 to 300 pounds of thrust for small uncrewed aircraft and attritable air systems. Beehive uses metal additive manufacturing to consolidate complex hot-section and flow-path components, reduce part count and alter engine size, thrust and ignition arrangements for individual vehicle requirements.
The Frenzy 8 configuration produces about 200 pounds of thrust and is progressing through United States Air Force-funded vehicle integration, flight testing and qualification. Beehive has completed performance, durability, environmental and high-altitude testing across the family. The company is expanding domestic additive-manufacturing capacity as Frenzy moves into full-rate production preparation.
