Sentinus ROV

About

About Sentinus ROV

Sentinus is a tethered underwater inspection ROV that uses onboard vision and navigation software to plan full-coverage survey passes. Six cameras, eight thrusters and high-output lighting provide visual coverage and manoeuvrability around hulls, quay walls, bridges, tanks and other submerged assets. Payload options include imaging sonar, hyperspectral sensing and calibrated stereo cameras.

The 22 kg vehicle is rated to 100 metres depth and offers six-degree-of-freedom motion. Battery operation provides about 60 minutes under normal use, while topside power supports continuous missions. Fibre-optic tethers are available in several lengths, and the two-terabyte onboard drive stores captured data for inspection analysis.
