About Boxfish Alpha

Boxfish Alpha is a portable inspection ROV rated to 300 metres. Eight vectored thrusters provide six-degree-of-freedom movement, while a 4K camera, navigation cameras and 10,000 lumens of lighting support observation and light intervention around subsea assets.

The 23–24 kg vehicle provides approximately three to 12 hours of operation across its battery and mission configurations. External ports accept sonar, grippers, positioning equipment and environmental sensors. The complete system travels in standard cases and can be deployed by a small field team for inspection, research and survey work.
