About

About PreciseFlex c8A family

PreciseFlex c8A uses wrist articulation to approach workpieces from different orientations, with its vertical column providing access at multiple equipment heights. Tool posture changes the available horizontal reach: a straight fifth joint gives a different working envelope from a right-angle wrist position, which matters when laying out machine access.

Brooks also positions the c8A for mobile applications, where reduced energy consumption can extend platform runtime. The company gives the robot a design-life target of more than 40,000 hours; that is a design rating, rather than an installed fleet operating record.
