Cinnamon 1
About
About Cinnamon 1
Cinnamon 1 is Donut Robotics' bipedal humanoid for workplace interaction and physical tasks. Its vision-language software interprets images and language, while Silent Gesture Control lets a person direct the robot through gestures. Donut is developing a vision-language-action system to connect language understanding more directly to robot movement.
The platform is approximately 170 centimetres tall and weighs about 70 kilograms. Donut develops its intelligence and control software in Japan, with the body supplied through an overseas manufacturing partner. Construction sites and factories are the initial target environments, and the company says it has introduced the robot to major corporate users. Cinnamon 1 is a separate offering from Donut's smaller communication robot and its Cinnamon Guide customer-service product.
