About TurtleBot 4 Standard
TurtleBot 4 Standard is the full-height model in Clearpath Robotics' ROS 2 learning-robot family. It combines an iRobot Create 3 mobile base with a Raspberry Pi 4B, RPLIDAR A1M8 and OAK-D-Pro spatial-AI camera. The Standard model adds a sensor tower, OLED display, user buttons, Bluetooth controller and an expansion plate with accessible power and USB connections for additional hardware.
The robot ships assembled with ROS 2, navigation and docking support, simulation packages, demonstrations and teaching material. Its sensors and Create 3 interfaces support mapping, autonomous navigation and camera-based AI development in classrooms and research laboratories. The current manual supports ROS 2 Jazzy and Humble; Clearpath launched the model for order in May 2022.
