DENSO VS050S2

DENSO VS050S2 is a six-axis articulated cleanroom robot for pharmaceutical production, medical-device assembly and laboratory automation. The 34-kilogram arm reaches 520 millimetres, carries four kilograms and repeats positions to ±0.02 millimetres. DENSO quotes a 0.35-second standard cycle under its defined test motion, keeping that benchmark separate from cycle time in a configured process.

Smooth exterior surfaces and the absence of exposed arm screws reduce sites where contaminants can collect. The robot is rated ISO Class 5, with IP65 protection across the main unit and IP67 at the wrist, and is designed to withstand 35-percent hydrogen-peroxide vapour and ultraviolet decontamination. Options include an internally routed electric-gripper flange and medical robot hands made with FDA-certified material; hand cleanliness remains dependent on the selected configuration.
