About Moxi 2.0

Moxi 2.0 is Diligent Robotics' next-generation mobile manipulation platform for routine logistics inside hospitals. The robot combines autonomous indoor navigation with a mobile base, storage and an articulated arm so clinical teams can delegate deliveries such as medications and laboratory samples. Its redesigned hardware adds clearer physical interaction points and service panels for staff working around the robot.

The platform uses NVIDIA IGX Thor computing and Diligent's software stack to perceive crowded corridors and navigate around beds, wheelchairs and people. Diligent says the design has ten times the compute of the earlier Moxi and is intended to support hospital deployments exceeding fifteen units at one site. The announced foundation-model work targets denser navigation and more precise manipulation, while deployed tasks remain limited to validated hospital workflows.

  • Diligent Robotics begins initial shipments of Moxi 2.0

    2026-08-17 - Product Launch - The rollout includes Endeavor Health Edward Hospital, Providence Saint John's Health Center and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The deployed configuration uses NVIDIA A2000 compute; Diligent reports 10-15 times faster perception than the previous generation. Diligent trained its new World Model on Amazon SageMaker HyperPod, while T-Mobile supported connectivity and planning for future private 5G deployments.

    2025-10-28 - Product Launch - Moxi 2.0 uses NVIDIA IGX Thor and carries ten times the compute of the original Moxi, which Diligent says allows larger models and faster inference on the robot. The foundation model is being trained on more than 1.25 million deliveries collected by the deployed Moxi fleet, which Diligent reports operates in over 25 US hospitals. The redesign adds improved handles and servicing panels for hospital staff and is designed to support sites running 15 or more robots.
