E400 Mapping

About

About E400 Mapping

E400 Mapping is Event 38’s fixed-wing VTOL survey aircraft with a tool-free interchangeable camera bay. Operators can change between RGB, multispectral, thermal and EO/IR payloads using camera-specific fixtures. Vertical take-off and landing remove the need for a runway, launcher or recovery net at the survey site.

E38 Ground Control runs mission planning, automated preflight checks and live monitoring from a Windows computer or integrated tablet. The carbon-fibre aircraft is battery-powered and carries up to three pounds of payload, with a stated flight time of ninety minutes. An optional live-video link supports inspection and observation alongside mapping missions.
