About AutoDrive
AutoDrive is Forterra’s integrated hardware-and-software autonomy system for defence, logistics, ports and other complex on- and off-road environments. The stack combines perception, redundant localization, behaviour generation, command-and-control communications and drive-by-wire integration through an open modular architecture.
Forterra currently reports more than 50 integrated vehicle platforms, more than 258 systems on contract, deployment in 11 countries and 1,100 combat missions. Production programmes include Oshkosh ROGUE-Fires and U.S. Army Infantry Squad Vehicle integrations, while Aeva 4D LiDAR is selected for a next-generation defence-vehicle configuration. Those figures describe AutoDrive’s system footprint; they are not represented as a single homogeneous vehicle fleet.

2024-09-10 - Funding - The 2.5-times-oversubscribed round was co-led by Moore Strategic Ventures, XYZ Venture Capital and Hedosophia. Standard Investments participated alongside existing investors Enlightenment Capital, Crescent Cove Advisors and Four More Capital. Forterra said the capital would support product development, customer programmes and delivery of autonomous ground-system capabilities.
