MESA

MESA is Forterra's modular autonomous tactical vehicle for logistics, force protection and payload missions near the last tactical mile. It is built on a factory-modified Polaris Ranger XD 1500 and integrates Forterra's AutoDrive autonomy with Vektor communications. A flat rear deck with L-Track mounting lets teams reconfigure the vehicle around cargo or mission equipment without changing the base mobility platform.

The vehicle carries up to 907 kilograms and packages mobility, compute, communications and sensing at the edge. AutoDrive combines perception, localization, behaviour generation and command links with the drive-by-wire vehicle, including operation in complex and GPS-denied terrain. Vektor supplies a software-defined data-brokering layer for disrupted or low-bandwidth networks, supporting supervised unmanned movement and mission coordination in contested environments.
