About

About Laborer C1

Laborer C1 is Glroad Robotics' compact bipedal robot for guidance, reception and public interaction. It pairs a lightweight humanoid body with speech interaction, navigation and configurable gestures. The platform is intended for settings such as exhibition halls, shops and hospitality venues, where it can provide directions, greet visitors and deliver prepared explanations.

The current configuration is 1.371 metres tall and weighs 38 kilograms. It has 21 degrees of freedom, with expandable four-joint arms and six-joint legs. A Jetson Orin NX computing configuration supports perception and interaction alongside a depth camera, lidar and an interaction display. The battery is rated for two hours of walking or four hours standing. Remote control and secondary-development interfaces allow operators to adapt behaviour and content for a particular venue.
