About

About SKYLORD GRIFFON

SKYLORD GRIFFON is XTEND’s counter-drone interceptor, combining onboard flight assistance with an immersive operator interface. Three-dimensional navigation and augmented-reality controls let personnel guide the aircraft remotely during interception. The system connects with external detection and command systems as part of a counter-UAS installation.

In April 2021, XTEND announced that it had delivered dozens of GRIFFON systems to US Army Special Operations Command. The product’s human-guided control architecture keeps the operator away from the aircraft while supporting identification and physical interception of small aerial threats.
