Groundhog Standard
About
About Groundhog Standard
Groundhog Standard combines a narrow wheeled base, stereo navigation sensors and an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin computer for repeatable site capture. An operator first maps the environment and defines waypoint routes, after which the robot can revisit the same locations while avoiding workers, equipment and newly introduced obstacles.
A Ricoh Theta Z1 records consistent panoramic imagery for progress and facility documentation. The robot can remap changing areas, operate for approximately two to four hours and use an optional charging dock for scheduled off-hours missions. Captured files are transferred into construction or digital-twin systems, with OpenSpace and Matterport workflows currently requiring manual import.
