Panther Crawler

Nexxis Panther is a modular tracked inspection crawler that can be arranged inline for small pipes, in parallel for larger bores and ductwork, or with magnetic attachments for travel on vertical and inverted ferrous surfaces. Its standard camera arrangement combines front pan-tilt-zoom and rear views, with high-intensity lighting for dark confined assets.

The platform accepts retrieval tools, laser measurement and profiling equipment, sonar and other non-destructive-testing sensors. Panther can enter pipes from about 205 millimetres in diameter, carry up to 16 kilograms and work at depths to 150 metres. Target environments include sewers, storm drains, hydroelectric penstocks, petrochemical lines and power-generation pipework.
