SELKIE 7

SELKIE 7 is Sea Machines Robotics’ seven-metre uncrewed surface vessel and the company’s first turnkey autonomous workboat. The integrated SM300 command-and-control system supports planned operation for hydrographic survey, offshore asset inspection, security, environmental studies and persistent on-water work. A single-screen interface provides mission command and supervision.

The diesel-powered vessel has an under-keel sonar mount, CTD winch and power and deck space for customer instruments. Its internal cargo bay has floor space equivalent to two 1.3-metre Euro pallets, while remotely controlled hatches can deploy payloads or small inspection and surveillance aircraft at sea. The product remains distinct from Sea Machines’ later eight-metre STORMRUNNER design; unsupported speed and range figures have been removed.
