About
About KR1410
KR1410 is Kassow Robots’ seven-axis collaborative robot arm with a 10-kilogram payload and 1,400-millimetre reach. Its additional elbow axis lets integrators choose different arm postures around tooling, machinery and nearby obstacles. The standard model uses an external controller and a compact 160-by-160-millimetre mounting footprint. Tablet-based programming and ROS, ROS 2 and PROFINET interfaces support integration into production cells.
The arm is available through Kassow’s sales partners for configured industrial applications. At Greek cheese producer Epirus S.A., a KR1410 uses a Netelco aluminium gripper to palletise open-top feta boxes from a Bosch Rexroth conveyor, including cardboard interlayers. Heldele’s camera-guided bin-picking cell provides another integration pattern. KR1410 has ISO Class 5 cleanroom certification; end effectors, guarding and application risk assessment remain part of the complete installation.

Timeline
- Kassow Robots KR1410 palletizes feta cheese boxes at Epirus S.A.
2024-12-05 - Deployment - A Netelco aluminium gripper grasps the boxes from the side and places cardboard between pallet layers. Each Euro pallet contains 11 layers of 33 boxes per layer. A Bosch Rexroth Varioflow Line conveyor feeds the cobot in the existing production area.
