About XQ-58A Valkyrie

XQ-58A Valkyrie is a high-subsonic uncrewed tactical aircraft developed as a collaborative combat and autonomous collaborative platform. The 30-foot aircraft uses a turbofan engine, has a 6,000-pound maximum launch weight and carries mission equipment in an internal bay and on wing stations.

The platform reaches Mach 0.86, operates up to 45,000 feet and covers more than 3,000 nautical miles. Runway-independent launch and recovery options support operations from dispersed locations, while its mission architecture covers independent flight and teaming with crewed aircraft. Valkyrie first flew in 2019 and is now in production, with Kratos documenting flights alongside F-35, F-22, F-15EX and F/A-18 aircraft.
