About Matternet M2

M2 is a California-built quadrotor certified to carry two-kilogram payloads over routes up to 20 kilometres. The aircraft has received an FAA Type Certificate and is manufactured by Matternet under an FAA Production Certificate, supporting regulated beyond-visual-line-of-sight delivery over populated areas.

The system is designed for rapid battery and payload exchange by either an operator or an automated Matternet Station. A complete landing, battery swap, package exchange and relaunch can take less than 60 seconds. M2 aircraft have completed more than 50,000 autonomous commercial deliveries across US and European healthcare and urban logistics networks.
