Matternet M3
About
About Matternet M3
M3 is Matternet's next-generation autonomous delivery platform for food, retail, healthcare and industrial logistics. The system combines an aircraft designed for payloads up to 11 pounds within a 10-mile service radius, a dock that stores and charges the aircraft, and an off-grid portal that accepts multiple packages for asynchronous pickup.
The platform is designed for unattended rooftop or ground-level micro-hubs: a sender deposits a package and the system handles pickup and delivery without an aircraft operator on site. Dave's Hot Chicken and Apian are the initial U.S. and U.K. launch partners. Matternet targets commercial service in the second half of 2027, subject to development, testing and regulatory approval.
