About

About Hugo RAS System

Hugo RAS is Medtronic’s modular robotic-assisted surgery system for adult minimally invasive urologic procedures. Separate arm carts can be positioned in different configurations around the patient, while an open surgeon console provides a three-dimensional view and maintains sightlines to the bedside team.

The system tower links the console and arm carts with KARL STORZ imaging and the Valleylab FT10 energy platform. Its endoscope can be placed on any robotic arm, and the architecture supports multi-quadrant access with adjustable arm height and tilt. Touch Surgery services add training, tele-proctoring and post-case insights. The system received US FDA clearance for urologic surgical procedures in December 2025.
