About SkyWalker
SkyWalker is MicroPort MedBot's robotic-assisted orthopaedic system for total knee and total hip arthroplasty. It uses preoperative CT data to create three-dimensional joint models and patient-specific implant plans.
During surgery, the surgeon remains in control while a lightweight robotic arm supports registered bone preparation, including osteotomy for knee procedures and acetabular grinding for hip procedures. SkyWalker has NMPA, FDA and CE regulatory clearances, but approved use and availability remain jurisdiction-specific.
