About MELSERVO-J5 Servo Amplifier

MELSERVO-J5 amplifiers close the control loop between Mitsubishi Electric motion controllers and compatible rotary, linear or direct-drive servo motors. High-resolution encoder feedback and fast current, velocity and position control support coordinated axes in packaging machines, semiconductor equipment, robots and precision assembly systems. Available amplifier configurations cover single-axis and multi-axis installations, regenerative operation and shared power arrangements.

The platform integrates with Mitsubishi Electric’s CC-Link IE TSN network for synchronised motion and machine-control communication. Setup and tuning tools automate motor adjustment, monitor vibration and record operating data for diagnostics and maintenance. Safety functions can be incorporated into machine architectures requiring controlled stopping and torque removal, while predictive-maintenance features help identify changes in mechanical behaviour.
