LD-250

OMRON LD-250 is an autonomous mobile robot for moving carts, racks and other material loads through factories and warehouses. It navigates from mapped natural features without relying on a fixed physical guide path, so routes can be adjusted in MobilePlanner as a facility changes. The base is designed to accept application-specific tops and interfaces, while FLOW Core coordinates traffic and assignments in fleets of as many as 100 mobile robots.

The platform is rated for a 250-kilogram payload and travel at up to 1.2 metres per second. OMRON states runtimes of about 13 hours without a load and 10 hours at full load, with a 20-to-80-percent recharge taking approximately 2 hours 10 minutes. The robot can negotiate a 3-percent slope and uses safety laser scanners and additional sensing to operate around people and equipment. Route conditions, top-module design, load distribution and fleet traffic affect achieved throughput and endurance.
