About SCOUT-M2X+
Phoenix LiDAR Systems’ SCOUT-M2X+ is a compact mobile-mapping payload built around a 32-channel Hesai XT32M2X scanner. It captures a 360-degree horizontal field and 40.3-degree vertical field, supports as many as three returns per pulse, and records 640,000 points per second at ten scan lines per second. Phoenix specifies two-to-four-centimetre RMSEz at 100 metres under its stated acquisition conditions.
The current assembly weighs 1.8 kilograms, measures 17.7 by 11.6 by 12.3 centimetres and draws about 30 watts from a 12-to-28-volt supply. Integrated multi-constellation GNSS supports UAV, vehicle, backpack and SLAM installations, while the published maximum flight height reaches 100 metres for a target with 20-percent reflectivity. Navigation, trajectory processing and the finished mapping workflow depend on the selected host, accessories and software configuration.
