About R1

R1 is Unitree's compact humanoid platform offered in R1 AIR, R1 and R1 EDU configurations. The current family stands about 1.23 metres tall, weighs roughly 27–29 kilograms and provides 20–40 degrees of freedom depending on version.

R1 combines cameras, microphones, speakers and open joint and sensor interfaces for interaction and secondary development. Optional compute and dexterous hands belong to selected configurations; several demonstrated functions remain under development.
