About RIEGL VUX-160²³
RIEGL VUX-160²³ alternates its laser beam between nadir, forward and backward directions to capture vertical surfaces, narrow corridors and obscured geometry. It records up to two million measurements per second across a 100-degree field of view and produces up to 400 scan lines per second.
The 2.65-kilogram sensor includes two terabytes of storage and interfaces for GNSS/IMU equipment and five cameras. Online waveform processing separates multiple targets within vegetation and complex structures. Applications include utility corridors, railways, mines, cities, forestry and archaeology.
