About RIEGL VUX-240²⁴
RIEGL VUX-240²⁴ records up to two million measurements per second across a 75-degree field of view. Its rotating polygon mirror produces as many as 600 scan lines per second, supporting dense point-cloud capture from fast UAVs, helicopters and crewed survey aircraft.
Online waveform processing separates multiple returns from vegetation, wires and layered terrain. The scanner includes two terabytes of internal storage, removable media and interfaces for external GNSS/IMU equipment and four cameras. Applications include power-line, railway, pipeline, mining, forestry and urban mapping.
