Robbyant R1

About

About Robbyant R1

Robbyant R1 is the historical humanoid model introduced by Ant Group in Shanghai on 11 September 2025. It was developed by Shanghai Ant Lingbo Technology, operating as Robbyant, as a platform for applying AI to physical service tasks. Visitor guidance and information assistance were among its intended applications.

The platform combined components from Chinese robotics suppliers, including Ti5 Robot joint modules and a Galaxea AI chassis. Ant's development effort focused on the robot's intelligence and its interaction with people. R1 belongs to Robbyant's 2025 programme and is distinct from the later R2 model.
