ALICE M1

About

About ALICE M1

ALICE M1 is AeiROBOT's wheeled humanoid platform for mobile-manipulation research. It combines a mobile base with an adjustable upper body, two seven-joint arms and articulated hands. The configuration gives developers a way to study coordinated movement and handling without using a bipedal walking system.

Its height varies from 1.3 to 1.8 metres and its weight is 97 kilograms. AeiROBOT lists 31 degrees of freedom across the waist, arms, head and hands. An NVIDIA AGX Orin computing platform works with stereo vision, an IMU, 3D lidar and laser sensing. Open URDF files support simulation and further development. M1 is distinct from the bipedal ALICE 4 and ALICE 5 platforms, retaining its own body geometry, sensing and computing configuration.

  • AeiROBOT previews ALICE M1 and ALICE4 at CES 2026

2026-01-06 - Demonstration - The planned conveyor-worksite scenario pairs the wheeled ALICE M1 with the bipedal ALICE4 for box handling. The demonstration draws on validated process data from an automotive-parts factory and a cosmetics production line. AeiROBOT combines its own linear actuators with precision control algorithms to reproduce parts recognition, movement and assembly workflows.
