About EPick Vacuum Gripper
EPick generates vacuum through an electrically powered unit mounted on the robot, removing the need for an external compressed-air supply. Interchangeable suction cups and mounting arrangements let the gripper handle sheet material, cartons, panels and workpieces with suitable surfaces. Integrated sensing and control allow the robot program to initiate gripping, monitor vacuum state and confirm that a part has been acquired before motion continues.
The gripper is designed for installation on collaborative robots through Robotiq mechanical interfaces, software packages and application kits. Users configure grip and release actions from the robot programming environment and can change cup layouts when production moves between parts. EPick is commercially supplied for machine tending, packaging, palletising and general pick-and-place deployments.
