Quanta Plus

SBG Systems’ Quanta Plus is an OEM GNSS-aided inertial navigation module for airborne, land and marine platforms. It combines a temperature-calibrated tactical-grade MEMS IMU with a multi-frequency, dual-antenna GNSS receiver. SBG lists RTK horizontal position accuracy of 0.01 metre plus 0.5 parts per million, RTK roll and pitch accuracy of 0.015 degrees, and RTK heading accuracy of 0.03 degrees.

The 76-gram board measures 51.5 by 78.75 by 20 millimetres, consumes under 3.5 watts and outputs IMU or INS data at up to 200 hertz. Ethernet, TTL serial and CAN interfaces support GNSS corrections and aiding from odometers or Doppler velocity logs. Quanta Plus remains an embedded navigation component: antenna installation, aiding quality, calibration, environmental conditions and host integration govern the accuracy achieved by a complete vehicle.
