About

About VectorNav VN-200 GNSS/INS

VN-200 is VectorNav's miniature GNSS-aided inertial navigation system for drones, robots, vehicles, mapping payloads and moving antennas. Three-axis gyroscopes, accelerometers and magnetometers combine with a 72-channel GNSS receiver and onboard Kalman filtering to output position, velocity and attitude.

The sensor delivers navigation data at up to 400 hertz and IMU data at up to 800 hertz, with dynamic heading accuracy of 0.2 degrees and pitch-and-roll accuracy of 0.03 degrees. A four-gram surface-mount module embeds directly into electronics, while a 16-gram rugged enclosure provides locking connectors and external-antenna support. VectorNav has fielded tens of thousands of VN-200 units since its 2012 introduction.
