HyDrone 4.5

HyDrone 4.5 is Seafloor Systems’ portable hydrographic survey catamaran, built around two watertight hulls and a frame that assembles without tools. A single person can transport and set up the platform. Its two brushless thrusters use differential steering, leaving the central structure available for survey equipment.

The vessel accepts GPS receivers and optional echosounder packages, with remote-control and autonomous navigation configurations available. It is intended for surveying rivers, contaminated lakes, mines and sewage treatment facilities. Field-swappable batteries support repeated missions, with Seafloor specifying up to nine hours at survey speed using 22 Ah batteries. Payload and navigation equipment are selected with the survey package.
