Colossus

Shark Robotics Colossus is a remotely controlled tracked robot for firefighting and hazardous emergency response. Its modular base can carry a high-flow water cannon, thermal and zoom cameras, ventilation fan, stretcher, transport basket, sensor tray or obstacle-clearing equipment. The current firefighting configuration delivers up to 3,000 litres per minute while keeping crews at a controlled distance from heat, smoke and unstable structures.

Published specifications include 12 hours of autonomy, 500 kg payload, 1,100 kg pulling capacity, IP67 protection and control range around one kilometre line of sight with mesh relay. Colossus has been used by fire services in operational incidents, including Notre-Dame and a 2025 chemical-fire response. Performance depends on the fitted module, hose supply, terrain, radio conditions, thermal exposure and incident command.
